Carl D. Crowell

Carl’s practice is primarily in complex federal and international litigation. He represents and protects the interests of clients throughout the United States and around the Pacific Rim, including China, Vietnam, Indonesia and The Philippines. Practice areas include intellectual property, international trade and civil rights.

Personal Background:
Carl grew up in a rural small town in the Texas Hill Country. His early days included taking care of goats and pigs and various other animals around the farm and swimming and fishing in the Texas Hill Country. His summers were spent helping his grandfather run a salvage yard repairing farm equipment. He takes pride in his skill with an acetylene torch and arc welder.
The years led him to Oregon where he found Salem to be a fine place to raise a family.
In Salem he managed to establish an international practice dealing with complex federal and international litigation. He represents and protects the interests of clients throughout the United States and around the Pacific Rim, including working in Hawaii, California, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and The Philippines. Practice areas include corporate law, intellectual property, international trade and given the opportunity, civil rights.
His interests outside of the law include designing and building kites, fine arts, and mixing music where he fancies himself an amateur DJ.
